We were very pleased with our experience with Ideal Homes of Barnum. We would absolutely recommend them to a friend, relative or anyone thinking of building. We worked with a different contractor (WH) for over 3 years of pain staking slowness, apologies and cost increases before we even got to the build! We finally dumped that company and had things rolling with Ideal the next day. About 1 1/2 years from first conversation to keys to our new home. We have a lovely country home with a full basement and attached garage. They had excellent recommendations for pieces we were responsible for coordinating - Shelton Excavating & Bobby Kent Well Drilling, friendly onsite staff and all the owners were involved with our project. The crew that handled the moving of our house to our site down our winding treed driveway were exceptional. Four of Five stars because building a house is a huge project, and of course there were a few things that we wish we would have been made aware of earlier, and now we would know for next time - and of course the anticipation of moving, getting in and settled and the timing that goes along with all of that -- but, all in all - we have been quite pleased and look forward to many years to come in our new home. If you're debating who to work with or frustrated with the inattentiveness of another contractor, go talk to Ideal -- and soon you'll be a happy customer in your new home, too!
